Afghanistan's Under-19 World Cup warm-up games have been canceled due to visa issues that have caused the team's arrival in the West Indies to be delayed.
In a press release, the ICC stated that talks to settle the situation were still ongoing.
"We've been working with the Afghanistan Cricket Board and other key players to try and find a solution that will allow the squad to travel," said Chris Tetley, ICC Head of Events.
"In the meantime, we've rescheduled the warm-up matches to allow the teams in the region to complete their preparations ahead of the tournament's start on January 14th."
Afghanistan was due to play England at Warner Park today (January 10) and the UAE at St Paul's on Wednesday, after finishing eighth in the 2020 edition (January 12).
The match between England and the UAE will now take place on January 11 at Conaree Cricket Centre.
