Trinbago Knight Riders, the tournament's most prosperous franchise, have revealed their retentions for the upcoming season.
The Trinbago Knight Riders have retained key players like skipper Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran and seamers Akeal Hosein and Jayden Seales.
Beginning on August 17, the Caribbean Premier League 2023 will kick off with a game between Jamaica Tallawahs and St. Lucia Kings.
Dwayne Bravo will also be returning to the franchise for CPL 2023, the Knight Riders confirmed in May. The franchise has been able to develop a solid core team thanks to the retentions, according to head coach Phil Simmons, who expressed his happiness.
The Knight Riders will try to make a solid comeback in the upcoming season after placing last in CPL 2022. They will face the SKN Patriots on August 19 to open their CPL 2023 season.
