The Libema Open in ‘s-Hertogenbosch saw a remarkable final match comeback by Tallon Griekspoor, who benefited from the enthusiastic home crowd.
At the grass-court ATP 250 in the Netherlands, the sixth seed fought back to defeat Jordan Thompson 6-7(4), 7-6(3), 6-3. After retaining his composure in the second-set tie-break, Griekspoor broke serve once in the decider's sixth game to complete a two-hour, 35-minute triumph and win his second ATP Tour title.
After Tim van Rijthoven hoisted the cup in 2022, Griekspoor is 's-Hertogenbosch's second consecutive home champion. Having already prevailed in Pune in January, he is the eighth Dutch player in the Open Era to win multiple tour-level championships.
