Transfer of English midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid has been finalised. The 19-year-old will cost the Spanish powerhouse 103 million euros (£88.5 million), with numerous possible add-ons.
The deal might total 133.9 million euros (£115 million) if certain add-ons are met. At a ceremony on Thursday, Bellingham, who began his career at Birmingham City, will be introduced as a Real Madrid player. Bellingham, one of England's best players at the 2014 World Cup, was voted the Bundesliga's player of the season as Dortmund fell short of winning the league for the first time in 11 years on the final day.
With the initial payment, he surpasses Jack Grealish, who cost Manchester City £100 million from Aston Villa in 2021, as the second most expensive English football player.
